Bespoke internal doors for an industrial aesthetic
The Objectives
The client approached Deuren with the aim of using our bespoke internal door design service to echo the characteristics of their rustic yet industrial building throughout the property’s stylish interior - a combination of metals, woods, and leather.
Brimming with understated character, the Trem H modern internal door features a majestic design of horizontal grain, using the highest-quality timber. The client chose this style predominantly in Walnut for a fascinating combination of lighter, pale browns with streaks of dark chocolate browns - often forming stunning crowns and grain formations.
Some internal doors were chosen in a painted finish - Farrow & Ball’s ‘Railings’. This soft black with blue undertones creates a handsome and commanding entryway, complementing both the traditional and contemporary aspects of the property. Following preparation by our team, the client supplied and fitted a metal strip to each door, seamlessly harmonising with the metal finish applied to the surrounding interior walls.
Finally, an internal pocket door was selected as the entranceway to the property’s upstairs corridor, achieving a clean, minimalist aesthetic when closed and disappearing completely into the wall once fully opened.
