Creating visual harmony with bespoke internal doors
The Objectives
Inspired by a showroom visit, the client approached Deuren with the aim of using our bespoke internal door design service to echo the characteristics of their beloved Piano front door throughout their Yorkshire home.
Deuren's Solution
Brimming with understated character, the Piano front door features uneven, vertically carved lines, making it truly unique in appearance. The client chose this style in Natural Oak, resulting in a timeless finish that beautifully complements the home’s exterior.
To achieve aesthetic harmony with this cherished front door, the client opted for contemporary Gio Glass internal doors in Olive Ash, with a bespoke twist. The Gio Glass style maintains the minimalist look of Gio, but features a large glass panel that facilitates light flow throughout the interior and gives the illusion of a more open-plan design, increasing the perception of space.
For the bespoke internal doors, we added uneven, vertical strips of timber. This detail cleverly mirrors the front door design while creating a ‘peekaboo’ aesthetic, teasing the eye through to stunning adjacent rooms.
